What is microblading?
Also known as eyebrow embroidery, 3D eyebrow, feather touch brows, micro-stroke eyebrow tattoo and feathering. This cosmetic procedure is designed to cosmetically enhance the natural shape of the eyebrow using implantation of safe pigments into the skin, mimicking the eyebrows natural hair.
The treatment is semi-permanent lasting up to two years depending on the skin type and is a two part procedure - initial consultation and touch-up. At the first session, the eyebrow shape is measured according to the client's facial features, such as the eyes and nose in order to achieve the most suitable natural eyebrow shape (The Golden Ratio - 1:618) and pigment colour depending on the colour of the client's eyebrow hair. Once the client is satisfied with the newly drawn shape, the procedure will begin. Please allow two - three hours for this session.
A complimentary touch-up is scheduled at four to eight weeks after the first session. During the touch-up, the eyebrow is re-measured and analysed to check whether more strokes need to be added. Please keep in mind this is a two part procedure, therefore a touch-up is essential for every client to see the final result after healing. Allow up to two hours for this session. A touch-up must be completed within eight weeks to avoid additional charges.
Lash Lift & Tint
What is a lash lift?
The lash lift procedure has revolutionised old, inadequate perming techniques. Using silicone pads instead of perm rods, this new technique can lift, straighten or curl, and lengthen your own natural lashes to create a brighter, fuller, wide eyed look. No need for extensions and the associated aftercare, this will last you 6-8 weeks and can be combined with a tint to leave the mascara behind.
Can a Lash Lift be used to compliment other treatments?
Yes! A lash Lift can be enhanced when you use an eyelash growth product, such as EyEnvy. While your lashes grow longer, our process controls straight or overly curly lashes by giving them a uniform lifted look. Black eyelash tint is applied during the treatment to enhance the look of your lashes. See treatment price list here.
Does the Lash Lift procedure hurt?
No the procedure is totally painless. You will have your eyes closed for the entire treatment and although it may feel a little strange being unable to open your eyes for this time, it offers you a chance to relax during the treatment.
Is the procedure safe?
Yes. Lashes are lifted onto our specially shaped lifting pads before products are applied.
Will the Lash Lift damage my natural lashes?
No. Select a carefully trained and skilled Professional to ensure proper Lash Lift procedures are followed
How long does a lash lift take?
A lash lift can take anything from 45 minutes to an hour from beginning to end.
How long will a Lash Lift last?
A Lash Lift can last 6-8 weeks but can vary from person to person. There is no need for any maintenance appointments in between but you will need to have the process repeated every 6-8 weeks to lift the new hair growth. There are some situations that may cause the lift to drop/weaken prematurely such as swimming, use off harsh products or heat. If you find that your lift does not last the full 2 months, you can repeat the treatment after a minimum of 4 weeks of having the initial treatment, but not before.
Will I have a reaction to the lotion?
Very few people have a reaction to the products used. You can opt to have a patch test 24 hours beforehand. A patch test is quick and simple. It consists of us placing 2 drops of lotions behind the ear for 15 minutes. Wiping it off and waiting to see if any subsequent irritation occurs over the next 24 hours such as redness, itching or inflammation for example.
I wear contact lenses, can I have this procedure?
Yes. However, we will ask you to remove them temporarily during the treatment as the eyes will be closed throughout.
Can I wear makeup after my lash lift?
Yes but it is advised that you leave your lashes untouched for at least 24 hours after your treatment. You may find that there is no need for mascara anyway, but if you wish to make your lashes even fuller, a non-waterproof mascara is advised as the removal of waterproof mascaras can be harsh on the lashes and weaken the lift.
How do I clean my eyes?
Gently, using mild products. Always wait 24 hours to do this, straight after the procedure.
Can I use an eyelash curler?
No. There will be no need for an eyelash curler as this treatment gives a much better result than using a curler, But more importantly, using one may weaken and damage your lashes.
How often can I have a lash lift?
You can repeat the treatment after a minimum of one month if you feel you need to, or you can wait until they are back to their natural state.
